For fans of Sancerre: Domaine Moillard Saint Bris presents itself to the wine lover wonderfully dry. This white wine is never coarse or meager, but round and smooth. On the tongue, this balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly light and dense texture. In the finish, this youthful wine from the Burgundy wine-growing region finally inspires with exceptional length. Hints of lemon and sour cherry appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by limestone and gravel.

The Sauvignon Blanc Saint Bris of Domaine Moillard from Burgundy reveals a bright, light yellow color in the glass. This varietal French wine reveals in the glass wonderfully complex notes of green apple, sour cherries and lemons. These are joined by hints of other fruits.

Vinification of the Domaine Moillard Sauvignon Blanc Saint Bris

The balanced Sauvignon Blanc Saint Bris from France is a single varietal wine, vinified from the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety. The grapes grow in optimal conditions in Burgundy. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of limestone and gravel. The grapes for this white wine from France, at the time of optimal ripeness, are harvested particularly quickly and preferably in the morning to preserve their freshness. After the harvest, the grapes are taken to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully milled. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn off.
