The harmonious, velvety style of Barolo is typical of Ceretto wines. It presents itself with a black-red dress in the glass. The bouquet is wonderfully complex, fruity with aromas of cassis, raspberries, morello cherries, wild herbs, notes of spices, ginger, aniseed and subtle smoky hints. It is wonderfully juicy on the palate, the tannins are present but never overpowering, the emphasis is on elegance and finesse. A perfect balance between alcohol, acidity and a spicy, ripe, wonderfully harmonious fruit through to the long finish.
